In the mid-seventies, he came to live in the Netherlands and started buying instruments with the money he earned.

In no time his room was full of bass guitars, drums, bongo and conga drums. For many years he played as a percussionist in groups and bands, which exposed him to all kinds of music styles, such as pop, funk, Afro-Latin or jazz.

As a real performer with a passion for music, he gives an extra shine and dimension to the performances.

In 1990, in theater De Doelen in Rotterdam with a line-up of international acts was a turning point in his career”. For the first time, Ernesto gave a sound performance and the audience received it with great enthusiasm. This bridge act became the start to develop theater performances of sound stories.

Ernesto gathered musicians around him who were able to go along with his sound fantasy. Over the years, Ernesto produced many sound stories for theaters and schools or special events: like: Day in Tropical Rainforest, From Pole to Pole, Wedlands, Transiberie Express, Universe, Ocean Dream, WaterMusic, Doodstil, Kalibasha and Oh, Yes of course !
